Oh boy....It's been months Since I've last updated. I think it may be a record. e.e

April. A whole summer's gone by and most of the fall. Well, I guess it doesn't make a whole lot of difference,a s not much goes on in the life of one Amanda O.. And since no one has mentioned it, I've kinda let time get away from me. It's not as if I don't go to DA anymore; quite the contrary actually. I've been keeping up with journals and messages (W00t! Went from a really large amount to 0!) and trying to get up to date with deviations (down to 646 from 1,00+). I just haven't been updating my art and journals. I have some art stuff done, which I'll go ahead and post; I was waiting to finish some more, as they all share a common theme, but oh well. So I guess, expect some art here soon.


But on to other things: An update on life,

As I said in April, I am now done with Schoolcraft for the most part, I still may do Wind Ensamble just because I don't play much on my own. But we'll see when summer hits. Now I'm at Northern Michigan U way up in the Upper Peninsula. No snow yet... almost, but not quite. Classes started the last week of August, so I'm about halfway through the semester already (time's sure flying @_@). Not too hard yet, only 2 exams and one tomorrow actually, and another take home one on Wednesday. So can't complain. My only real complaint class-wise is that I have a butt-ton of classes on Friday. >_< I've missed two of my morning classes due to oversleeping... e.e But meh.

I'm in the Marching Band here at NMU which is really cool. My roommate and one suite-mate turned out to be in the band, too which is really awesome. Band is fun, though admirably, not as fun as high school... :\ Though it could be because of jumping right in during Junior year, and also that I'm still new. I'll see what next year brings. But...still fun. (Game days kinda suck tho. ><

Adjusting to campus life wasn't too hard. One week recently was harder than others, but got over that real fast. I still miss home some days tho (of course), but it helps that I'm not the only one I know up her from back home. Kevin goes to Tech and I get to see him more often (bonus!). Actually, I'm playing DND with him and his friends this semester, so it's basically and every week basis. I haven't gone home yet (and won't til the semester's over), so it's a good thing there's someone else up here with me, even if he's two hours away. ^^


Um.... I think that's it for updates, and I'll try, try, try, to not wait so long with updates. I feel like I'm talking your ears off...
